LIMERICK: Football Hero Frown

A football star has been begotten

In a scene of carnage and cotton,

          Yet even with recent renown

          As the biggest hero in town,

He’s now noticed it’s his towel he’s forgotten.

 

I wrote this for the contest below but missed the deadline - thought is was pretty nifty though.
